Service Levels and Priorities

To ensure proper expectations are set when submitting a case to Zoom’s technical support team, we prioritize issues based on the following criteria:

Priority 1 - Urgent
The service is “down,” operation of the service is severely degraded, or there is a critical impact to the service due to a fault with the network or other software issue. No workarounds. Examples include failures of Zoom’s transmission services or software functions. Zoom will provide necessary resources around the clock to resolve this situation.

Priority 2 - High
Significant aspects of the service are negatively affected by inadequate performance of the network or other software issues. Partial or no workarounds. Zoom will provide resources during Zoom’s normal business hours to resolve the situation and additional resources outside of Zoom’s normal business hours as reasonably necessary.

Priority 3 - Normal
General issues related to a feature or a set of features. Operational performance of the service is not impaired. Zoom will provide reasonable resources during Zoom’s normal business hours to assist in resolving the problem or providing a workaround.

Priority 4 – Low
Informational or Feature Change Request: Customer requires information or assistance with service’s capabilities, installation or configuration and there is little to no effect on its business operations. Included are requests for information, assistance, features, alpha/beta and others. Such requests will be handled within Zoom's normal business hours.

Target response times
Target response time for a support ticket will be the time (a) commencing when Zoom receives a proper support ticket from customer and (b) ending when customer receives notification that the support ticket has been logged.

Owners and Administrators of Pro, Business, Education, Enterprise, and API plans, here are initial target response times for each priority level:

Priority 1 - Urgent: 1 Hour

The tutorial will explain about how to change default ssh port number in OpenSSH Server on CentOS 7 and RHEL 7 . We will change the SSH default port no. 22 to our desired number and we will keep SELINUX enabled. We will also add new firewalld rule with respect to new ssh port number.

Generally for security point of view , we change the default ssh port number 22 to any other port number. Always be careful while selecting new port number. We should select the number above the “well known port number” that is above port number 1024 . Also we should not use same application /Utility specific default port number, for example just as we use in tomcat port 8080, MySQL 3306. In simple words, select the port number above 1024 as well as should not conflict with any application/utility/program etc.

Change SSH port number

First take the backup of sshd_config file.And then go for edit.

cp -p /etc/ssh/sshd_config /etc/ssh/sshd_config.orig.$(date +%F)

Now edit the file /etc/ssh/sshd_config. Search for line #Port 22 or Port 22 .
Note: The # is used for commenting the line. But because ssh has well known port number 22 (below 1024). It will by default listen on port number 22.

Remove # from line Port 22. And the change 22 to new port number, here we have selected 2292 .

vi /etc/ssh/sshd_config

Port 2292

SELINUX for SSH

By default SELINUX only allow port no. 22 for ssh. Now add new port context 2292.
Note: Replace 2292 in case you have selected different port number

semanage port -a -t ssh_port_t -p tcp 2292

Now check once the port context for ssh

semanage port -l | grep ssh

Below given is output from our server

Now Restart the SSH service

systemctl restart sshd.service

Allow port 2292 with firewalld

Now allow port number 2292 for ssh. Run the below given command. It will permanently add the new firewalld rule in public zone for port 2292 with TCP protocol.

firewall-cmd --permanent --zone=public --add-port=2292/tcp

Reload firewalld

firewall-cmd --reload

Check listening ssh port with ss command

With ss command, you can find the listening port for ssh. Use below command for this

ss -tnlp|grep ssh

Registry Disclaimer: The further steps will involve registry manipulation. Making mistakes while manipulating registry could affect your system adversely. So be careful while editing registry entries and create a System Restore point first.

1. Press + R and put regedit in Run dialog box to open Registry Editor (if you’re not familiar with Registry Editor, then click here). Click OK.

2. Navigate to following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU

3. In the corresponding right pane of AU registry key, you’ll see a registry DWORD (REG_DWORD) named UseWUServer which might be set to 1. Double click on it to modify its Data.

4. Then in Edit DWORD Value box, put the Value data as 0. Click OK and close the Registry Editor window.

You can now reboot your machine and try enabling Developer mode, it should get activated this time.

DNSCrypt On Windows

This is an update to my original article, Getting Started With DNSCrypt On Windows. With the release of version 1.4.0, it’s much simpler to install the dnscrypt-proxy service.

Note: Also see this post about using ephemeral keys.

To start, download the latest version of DNSCrypt from here. At the time of writing, that would be “dnscrypt-proxy-win64-full-1.9.1.zip”. From that archive, extract the content of the bin folder; there should be six files. You can place them anywhere on your computer, but I am going to place them in “C:\Program Files\DNSCrypt\”.

Next, open an elevated command prompt. On Windows 8.1, you can press Win-X and choose “Windows Command Prompt (Admin)”. On Windows 7, search the Start menu for “cmd”, right-click on cmd.exe, and select “Run as administrator”. From there, you should navigate to where you placed the DNSCrypt files. We do this using the “cd” command followed by the path, so in this example, you would run:

cd "C:\Program Files\DNSCrypt"

From there, we prepare to install the proxy service. First, you will need to select a DNS provider. You may have noticed a file called dnscrypt-resolvers.csv that is included in the download. This contains a listing of many DNS providers that support DNSCrypt. For each provider, it has a name, description, location, and whether they support things like DNSSEC and Namecoin. It also has the necessary IP addresses and public keys. For now, pick one that you like and copy the value in the first column. We are going to use CloudNS, so the name I need is “cloudns-can”. Now that we have a DNS provider, we will test to make sure the proxy can connect using this command:

dnscrypt-proxy.exe -R "cloudns-can" --test=0

If all goes well, you will get an output similar to this:

[INFO] Generating a new key pair
[INFO] Done

If not, pick another name and try again. If it does work, then you can proceed to install. The command is the same except that instead of --test=0, we use --install. As of release 1.9.1, a caching plugin is also included, so we can enable that as well by adding --plugin=libdcplugin_example_cache.dll to our command.

dnscrypt-proxy.exe -R cloudns-can --plugin=libdcplugin_example_cache.dll --install

You should see something like this output to the terminal:

[INFO] The dnscrypt-proxy service has been installed and started
[INFO] The registry key used for this service is SYSTEM\Current
 ControlSet\Services\dnscrypt-proxy\Parameters
[INFO] Now, change your resolver settings to 127.0.0.1:53

As indicated, you just need to change your DNS settings to 127.0.0.1 and you will be all set (for instructions on that, you can look at the original article). For reference, here is what my terminal screen looked like after I was done:
